You see, I believe in form following function. It’s fine if you are having a fire in the fireplace. Fireplace logs look the way they do because that is what they are. If you have a gas burning fireplace, for what reason would you want it to look as if it was a real wood burning fireplace full of real logs? It doesn’t make sense.
